    Alec gave him a cold re, to which Vincent quickly started the car. “Apologies, sir. We’ll leave

    Jenny had stepped out of Christopher’s car when he turned off his engine, seemingly intending to


    follow her upstairs. “Go home. I don’t have the energy to deal with you right now.”


    “Alright.” Christopher nodded. “I ordered takeout for you, by the way. It should be delivered soon.


    Instant noodles aren’t good for you long term.”


    Jenny waved a hand without looking back.
