    Jenny was put into a difficult situation by Jade’s invitation. If she hadn’t agreed to Alec, she wouldn’t

    asked, leaving Jenny no room to refute.


    With an awkward smile, Jenny bit the bullet and exined, “We’re just going to the event together. It’s


    not a date.”


    “Oh, sure, sure. Whatever you say.” She didn’t bother to argue with Jenny as she had already decided


    that Jenny was going on a date. Nheless, she admired Alec. Thest time she met him, Jenny was

    pushed her behind him and fixed his eyes on Gilbert.
