    him.


    “Ms. Shaw, I’ve been waiting for your call all this time, but you didn’t call even after that wedding.”


    Isabe’s voice was filled with weariness. “His condition never improved, so I couldn’t stop him. As for


    why I didn’t inform you… I’m sorry, but I genuinely didn’t know what feelings you had for him. So much


    could change in four years.


    “If you had called me sooner, maybe the situation wouldn’t be as dire as it is now. But since you were


    able to make this call, it means we might not be at the point of no return yet. Perhaps, there’s still a
