    Harvey smiled. “I heard Old Mister Hart had a teenage sweetheart from a rtively well-off family. They


    were about to get married when a girl from a richer family fell in love with Old Mister Hart. She

    “Based on what I’ve seen, I’m pretty sure Mister Hart went through some sort of traumatic experience


    that afternoon. Also, there were signs of him having been under hypnotic control,” replied Isabe.


    Harvey frowned. “But Tyler isn’t the type of person who’d be easily hypnotized, right?”


    “Logically speaking, yes.” A cold glint shed across Isabe’s eyes. “But if the hypnotist knows the


    exact condition that’s ailing Mister Hart, he’ll need to only worsen that condition to make it work. Throw


    in a couple of drugs, and it’ll be easy to put Mister Hart under hypnotic control.”


    Apart from Isabe and Vicky, the only other person who knew the details about Tyler’s condition was


    Avery.


    “It’s all my fault; I was careless. That’s how Avery knew about Mister Hart’s condition,” said Isabe


    guiltily.


    Even though she had talked about Tyler’s condition with Avery before, she made sure to keep the


    details to herself. Besides, even if Avery knew the exact condition Tyler was in, it would still be difficult


    for her to urately get Tyler to behave how she wanted him to.


    “If my guess is correct, not only does Avery know about Tyler’s current condition, but she must’ve


    gotten information from Missus Valencia Hart about the ‘treatment n’ they forced Tyler to go through


    in the past,” added Isabe.

    Isabe had no idea what kind of ‘treatment n’ Tyler went through in the past. Only Avery did, and

    After a long moment of silence, Harvey finally said, “Let’s not give up just yet.”


    Isabe turned to look at him in confusion.


    “Why are you still willing to help him when he tried to make yourpany go under? He even sent a


    hitman to go after you.”


    Harvey smiled. “I’m not helping him; I’m helping Vicky. Besides, he wasn’t in his right mind when he did


    all that. If I wanted revenge, I should go after the men who tried to set Tyler up so that we’ll both go


    down to show them they messed with the wrong person.”


    Isabe smiled. “I now know why Mister Hart sees you as his strongest rival. After all, not many people


    can boast they possess the same level ofpassion and intelligence as you do.”


    After they got home, Vicky exined everything to Tyler again.


    Even though Tyler sometimes confused reality with fiction, he was still as smart as ever. Deliberately


    hiding the truth from him would only make him more suspicious of her.
