    asking, “Mister Hart, should we bring another set of dinner?”

    After the doctor was gone, Gloria asked coldly, “What brought you here in the middle of the night,


    Mister Hart?”


    “The doctor called me and said that you won’t eat or cooperate with treatment.”


    “So, you abandoned my cousin, who’s afraid of the dark, at home and came running?” Gloria mocked.


    “If you don’t want toe here, why make yourself do it? You’ve been ignoring me for the past few


    days, haven’t you?”


    Everyone, including Selene, thought that Tyler was with Gloria every day, but he had only dropped by


    asionally, spending no more than a few minutes with her every time.


    Recently, he had not been seen anywhere in the hospital for the past three days.


    He lowered his gaze and stared at her emotionlessly. “If you know that I don’t want to be here, you


    should just cooperate with treatment.”


    Gloria flinched as she did not expect Tyler to admit to it right away.


    She narrowed her eyes bitterly and shouted sharply, “This is my body. Whether or not I cooperate with


    treatment is none of your business!”

    Just as he was about to reach the door, Gloria cast all her pride aside and wrapped her arms around


    Tyler from behind.

    Tyler had not expected her to be so bold and thus tensed.

    Without bothering to look at him, she pulled her arm away, but he simply tightened his grip.


    Hearing about something and seeing it happen was different.


    Hours ago, Tyler was exining how there was nothing between him and Gloria, and she could not


    help but feel happy about it.
