    She stared at the liquid and refused without hesitation, “No.”


    “Do you want me to force it down your throat?” he questioned coldly.


    Sensing the threatening tone in his voice, she said, “Can’t you at least tell me what that is? Am I


    supposed to drink anything you present to me? What if it’s some sort of poison?”


    After a long silence, he said, “Your body has suffered great damage in the past, and you won’t be able


    to get pregnant if you don’t start taking supplements.”


    Vicky’s eyes widened as she recalled what the doctors had said to her when she went to the hospital


    for a body check.


    She was told that even if she tended to her health carefully, it would be extremely challenging for her to


    get pregnant again.
