    Tyler stared at Vicky with his dark eyes.

    Her breath caught in her chest as his words reminded her of the memories she recently recovered.


    He used to mock her in a simr tone, saying that he was interested in her; it was shortly after that that


    he got drunk and attacked her.


    “If my figure bothers you so much, don’t go to sleep every night with a skeleton in your arms, then,” she


    said coldly.


    Ever since Tyler started spending nights at home, he returned to his animalistic ways.

    Vicky clenched her fists. “Then don’ty your hands on me!”


    “Why did I marry you, then? So that I can put you on a shelf to admire like some kind of trophy?”


    Vicky wanted to argue, but she noticed that the waiter was trying his best to suppress hisughter.


    Fearing that Tyler might run his mouth and say something ridiculous again, she looked away and


    ignored Tyler.


    Tyler did not tease her any further and simply proceeded to ce a few orders of Vicky’s favorite


    dishes.


    After the waiter was gone, Vicky said sarcastically, “How kind of you to remember the preference of so


    many people, Mister Hart.”


    Vicky intercepted the dinner date between Gloria and Tyler before, and at the time, Tyler managed to


    ce an order ording to Gloria’s preference as well.


    Vicky remembered how Gloria’s irritation melted away at that moment.
