    gain Tyler’s attention? Why don’t I help you out?”


    A foreboding hunch rose in Vicky’s heart when she saw Maria’s expression. “What are you up to, Maria


    Sparks?!”


    Maria smirked. “You can only gain people’s attention when you’re badly injured. Tyler will let you out of


    his sight easily because your injuries are still too light…”

    Maria chuckled and pushed the wheelchair out of the gazebo. Suddenly, she pushed the wheelchair


    toward the fountain. The wheelchair sped toward the fountain.


    Tyler was on the phone for nearly five minutes, yet his eyes were trained on Vicky, who was zoning out


    at the fountain.


    After he was finished with the phone, he heard some noises from the bush behind him.
