Introduction: Upon witnessing the brutal murder of his girlfriend targeted randomly by a street gang, Arthur Evans has had his entire life derailed. He drops out of college and develops agoraphobia, becoming afraid to leave his apartment. Trapped, he wastes away -- until discovering he has profound, God-like powers but only while asleep: powers he, at least initially, can only partially control.
