Gilbert, still beside her, seemed to have sensed
something after she woke up. He straightened up and looked at her, “You’re awake.”
Kisa refused to talk to him, closing her eyes once again. Her arm was numb with a tingling pain when

give in.
He turned to the woman and said in a deep voice, “You can give birth to the child. I can treat him as my

Kisa felt her anger rush to her. ‘Where did the child from?‘
