Jacob directly teleported into the final trial of the Tower of Pisces ording to his wish. As his senses readjusted, he felt a wave of disorientation. He found himself standing on the edge of a vast, etherealke, and he was astounded since this wasn''t the scene he was imagining.
The water shimmered like liquid silver, ripples bending and distorting the reflection of the darkened sky above. In the center of theke stood an enormous stone tform covered in ancient murals that told the enigmatic story of Pisces. Jacob instantly knew he was in the right ce; it was just that this was unlike the previous trials. Observing the murals, they depicted a pair of intertwined serpentine creatures, each coiled in an eternal dance. One serpent was cloaked in a veil of shimmering starlight, while the other''s scales glowed like the sun.
The murals were extremely vivid as they seemed to represent the twin aspects of time—the flow of the present and the echoes of the past, locked in an endless cycle of bnce and harmony. In some sections of the mural, they seemed to manipte the very fabric of reality, bending it to their will, freezing moments in time, or elerating the flow of events.
However, Jacob didn''t have time to observe those murals closely because a huge tremor suddenly shook the space, and his eyes instantly followed the point of the disturbance.
Jacob was astounded because, at this moment, he spotted a figure of mystical light—it was exactly the Wisp of Pisces. It was an ethereal, translucent entity shaped like a majestic serpentine dragon with a pair of long, flowing whiskers. Its scales shimmered in a shifting gradient of blue and silver, like the passage of time itself.
Around its body, an iprehensible time ripples and distortions moved like water, creating an almost hypnotic effect. Its eyes, deep pools of azure, glowed with a mysterious wisdom and power, hinting at its control over time.
Before Jacob could take in the full sight of the Wisp, the air was filled with a ferocious roar that sent tremors across theke. This noise was also a source of disturbance.
Jacob''s eyes flickered like condensed beams as he looked at the source. From the other side of theke, a colossal Fire Wyvern charged forward, its scales zing with molten fury!
The wyvern''s body was covered in fiery-red armor, its wings vast enough to eclipse the tform as they unfurled. Its eyes burned with ferocity, and its maw glowed like a furnace ready to unleash its destructive might.
Jacob was even more astounded because this Fire Wyvern instantly made him think about the me Cmity he had once encountered in the Dark Battle Arena, and he nearly lost that mighty descendant of the Dragon. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Furthermore, this Fire Wyvern didn''t seem any weaker than the me Cmity, if not stronger.
''So, the Legendary Key of Pisces ended up in the hands of a Wyvern? Now the question is if this Wyvern is from the Lesser or Middle Gxies. The chances of it beingtter are higher since Wyvern are extremely rare in the lesser gxies, I''ve only encountered two…'' Jacob thought deeply as he closely observed the earth-shaking battle. The battle between the two entities seemed to have begun sometime now, and Jacob couldn''t help but sigh in relief since he didn''t waste any time on those people ande directly here. At this moment, the wyvern reared back and unleashed a torrent of searing mes, a cataclysmic breath that seemed capable of incinerating everything in its path. The air heated to a blistering degree, and the fire formed a raging inferno that rushed towards the Wisp of Pisces, creating an apocalyptic scene of zing destruction. Even from far away, Jacob could feel the destructive heat!
However, the Wisp of Pisces remained unmoved, its serene expression unchanging which was even more shocking, and suddenly it raised one of its ethereal ws. A pulse of energy rippled from its form, and time itself seemed to warp and twist!
The wyvern''s fiery breath slowed to a halt, freezing midair as if captured in a moment suspended outside the flow of reality. The mes hung there, an immobile wave of destructive force, while the Wisp of Pisces calmly drifted forward, its eyes glowing with the power tomand time.
Jacob felt a chill run down his spine when he witnessed the power of time maniption for the first time. It was a power unlike any he had ever seen.
''Power of time…probably the strongest power in existence.'' Jacob thought as he knew something like elusive as time wasn''t something that could be manipted.
The Wisp of Pisces, representing the time element, clearly had supreme control over it, and it didn''t even seem to be trying to fight with the Fire Wyvern as it dismissively stood in its ce.
Furthermore, it seemed to be toying with the Fire Wyvern as it only stopped its breath, not the Fire Wyvern.
The Fire Wyvern roared again with apparent frustration, its massive wings beating as it tried to break through the Wisp''s control. But the Wisp''s mastery over time was absolute, and suddenly, the Wisp of Pisces''s finger flickered, and the next moment, another shocking scene yed out.
The breath that was stopped in midair started to flow ck, and so did the Fire Wyvern, creating a mystical yet eerie scene.
Jacob''s eyes flickered in shock, ''It''s reversing time!?''
Furthermore, once the Fire Wyvern returned to its initial stance when he was about to shoot out fire breath, Wisp of Pisces suddenly pulled its hand down and left it alone.
However, Jacob suddenly felt something was incredibly wrong with this Wisp of Pisces. He didn''t know if he was imagining things, but it seemed the Wisp of Pisces had this delightful smile as it looked at the Fire Wyvern as if it were a toy!
