    Gu Jin and Xiao Yize pursued him, but as they reached a bridge spanning the river, the ck man leaped from the bridge, plunging into the churning waters below.


    With a steely gaze, Xiao Yize ordered a perimeter to be established and a search initiated.


    Turning to Gu Jin, his concern evident, he inquired, “Miss Gu, are you unharmed?”<div>

    She couldn’t bear to think of what might have befallen her sister had Xiao Yize not intervened.


    Returning to the instrument shop, they found Gu Yang slumped over the piano, utterly drained.

    The shop was in disarray, instruments scattered haphazardly.
