Joseph did not say anything else and he just stared at Paige. Paige was flustered by his gaze. Did she
go overboard?
But he had gone too far. Who did he think he was by setting her up like this? They weren''t even a
married couple! Who gave him the right to do that?
"I just can''t be with you. Anyway, you don''tck women anyways, do you? Why are you holding onto
me like that?"

"Alright. I will stop pestering you. Whatever you want to say, let it all out now," He took out a cigarette
and lit it up.
Paige was a little confused by his attitude.
She paused for a moment and said, "So, you agree to break up?"
"Does it matter whether I agree or not?"
"Of course it''s important. If you agree, that means you won''t bother me anymore, right?"
"Sure, I won''t bother you ever again." He nodded slowly.
He finally agreed!
But Paige didn''t feel more at ease. Instead, she felt a heavy feeling in her heart. This was the oue
she wanted, but why wasn''t she feeling any better?
"Remember what you said... That''s all. I''m leaving!"
As she opened the door to leave, Joseph''s voice came from behind her, "Your bag and phone!"
She turned around to take the phone and bag. When her fingers touched Joseph''s, they were icy cold.
Paige could not help but nce at Joseph.
The man''s face was gloomy and cold.
She had never seen Joseph like this, so Paige didn''t dare to stay any longer. She took her pieces of
stuff and hurried away.
Joseph stared at her as she left. He let out a mouthful of smoke and his eyes darkened.
The driver opened the door and got into the car, then he started the car and drove away slowly.
Along the way, Joseph kept smoking. The atmosphere inside the car was extremely ufortable due
to the silence.
The car stopped at the gate of the vi and Joseph opened the door by himself. When he got out of the
car, he suddenly asked, "Does she really hate me that much?"
The driver was one of the special forces soldier who had been following Joseph for more than eight
years. He had never dated or understood women, so he answered honestly, "I think so."
After hearing his answer, Joseph mmed the door of his car shut. The bang was so loud that the
driver was shocked.
He looked over and saw that Joseph had already entered the vi.
After working with Joseph for eight years, he had never seen Joseph so angry. Did he say something
wrong?
But he was just telling the truth. Other women would jump on Joseph the moment they had the
opportunity, but Miss Anderson was different. She always looked grumpy when Joseph was around.
Anyway, Joseph was definitely not happy.

house.

huge private room.
Paige drank two sses of wine and she felt a little dizzy. She then got up and she went out to have
some fresh air. She didn''t expect to bump into Ethan at all!
When Ethan saw Paige, he immediately stopped her and said, "I’ll bring you to see someone."
