Chapter 299: My Home Has a Grassland

Chapter 299: My Home Has a Grasnd

Yuga smoothly arrived in Verdanturf Town that afternoon.

His absence had been brief, and Suzuki Koen''s and the other employees had capably managed the store during that time.

With the diligent efforts of the Miltanks in the Ecopark, the Pokémon had been well taken care of. Even though Yuga''s presence was currently missing, the Miltanks, under the coordination of their leader, were capable of handling things themselves.

After briefly inspecting his store, Yuga headed straight to the Pokémon Center.

While he was still in Mossdeep City, Director Mond had called Yuga and informed him that the Pokémon he had requested were ready. However, Yuga couldn''t ept them at that time.

Now, at the Pokémon Center, Yuga dialed Director Mond''s number and requested that he send the Pokémon over.

Director Mond had obtained a total of 60 Tauros for Yuga, along with a pair of Skiddo. The Skiddo consisted of one male and one female.

As for the Bouffnt, Director Mond decided not to bother, as Yuga was primarily interested in breeding for the Miltanks, and Bouffnt served the same purpose.

Of these 60 Tauros, one had a green potential, while the rest ranged from red to yellow potential. Since they weren''t rare Pokémon, they didn''t cost Yuga much money.

However, obtaining the two Skiddo had required significant effort on Director Mond''s part and came at a considerable expense. Just these two Pokémon had cost Yuga a whole one million Pokédor.

Cross-regional Pokémon like these were typically expensive, but Yuga''s thriving business, both with Pokémon and Pokéblocks, meant he could afford this expense. Otherwise, his finances would have been stretched thin.

All these transactions urred discreetly, as they went against League regtions.

Back at the Ecopark, Yuga released the 60 Tauros and two Skiddo into the main Ecopark area.

The Tauros and Skiddo didn''t seem surprised by their new surroundings. They casually looked around before bending down to enjoy the delicious grass beneath their hooves.

Watching the numerous Tauros munching on the grass, Yuga suddenly felt that his main Ecopark might be getting a bit crowded with 60 lively and running Tauros.

At that moment, Yuga received a message in his mind from the system.

[ Congrattions, Host, onpleting the hidden task: Pairing Males and Females. ]

[ Exnation: After obtaining pure female Miltanks, how could you not have pure male Tauros? You''re quite understanding! ]

    [ Reward: Grasnd Sub-Ecopark unlocked. ]

Yuga couldn''t help but marvel at how the system always seemed to read his mind and provide benefits ordingly.

"System, isn''t this reward a bit too easy?" Yuga eximed.

[ All the Sub-Ecoparks are considered basic infrastructure by the system, designed to help the Host establish aprehensive Day Care. As such, their tasks are rtively simple. Tasks for other rewards will be rtively more challenging. ]

After hearing the system''s exnation, Yuga realized why obtaining Sub-Ecoparks had been rtively easy. These Sub-Ecoparks were considered special rewards.

He thought about it and realized that it made sense. After all, the task to gain knowledge about crafting Razor Fangs had been quite challenging. Even now, Yuga only had a rough idea of the process and still had a long way to go toplete it, making it one of the most difficult tasks he had encountered.

Five minutes after unlocking the Sub-Ecopark, Yuga saw another portal appear in the main Ecopark area.

Upon entering, he was greeted by an endless expanse of green, like a lush carpet underfoot. The Grasnd stretched as far as the eye could see, with the exception of a towering tree by thekeside at the center.

This tree was evenrger than the weather tree in his main Ecopark.

The weather tree in the main Ecopark was thick but not particrly tall. However, the tree in the Grasnd Sub-Ecopark was not only thicker but also taller, casting a vast shadow over the area.

This tree, different from the weather tree, belonged to an unknown species ording to Yuga. But it was covered in pink flowers, simr in size to peach blossoms, giving the entire tree a pink hue.

Upon receiving an exnation from the system, Yuga learned that these blossoms also yed an important role. Whenbined with the Grasnd''s grass as part of the diet for milk-producing Pokémon, they could increase both the quantity and quality of milk they produced.

So, Yuga aptly named this tree the "Lactation Tree," and its flowers were called "Lactation Flowers."

Beneath the Lactation Tree, there were neatly arranged small wooden houses and warehouses, intended for Pokémon residence and storage. These buildings marked the first appearance of structures in any of Yuga''s Sub-Ecoparks.

The entrance to the Grasnd Sub-Ecopark was right in front of the wooden houses.

Yuga inspected each of the wooden houses, realizing that they were designed for Pokémon like the Miltanks, Tauros, and Skiddo, all of which hadrger body sizes. Each wooden house could amodate a maximum of two Pokémon, as more would have felt crowded.

This was a standard setup for a ranch.

After checking the wooden houses, Yuga went to inspect the warehouses.

While there weren''t many warehouses, with only five in total, each offered ample space for storage.

Finally, Yuga approached theke. Except for the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, which had springs and streams, water sources were crucial for most Pokémon.

Theke''s water was crystal clear, not as deep as the heartke ind''s, which was found in the shallow seashore. Theke was shallow enough to see the bottom, and it was essentially a pure drinking water reservoir.

After gaining a good understanding of the Grasnd Sub-Ecopark, Yuga informed the Miltanks and the newly arrived Tauros and Skiddo about their move.

Despite themon misconception that Miltanks had nothing, they had quite a few possessions. They had brushes and toiletries for bathing themselves and other Pokémon, buckets for fetching water, bowls for eating, and much more.

While their main diet consisted of grass, Yuga regrly provided them with Pokéblocks for a bnced diet. Therefore, their food bowls were also essential.

There were also various items required for taking care of other Pokémon, and these were stored in their new homes due to their quantity. Managing these items was easier when they were ced in the Sub-Ecopark rather than the main Ecopark.

One crucial item among them was the milking machine.

This machine had been rmended by Grandpa Milton and was a convenient device for the Miltanks to milk themselves. It was very convenient and allowed the Ecopark''s Pokémon to switch from loose milk to bottled milk.

Surprisingly, they didn''t move therge quantity of Pokéblocks stored in the main Ecopark''s warehouse. These Pokéblocks were usually meant for other Pokémon in the Sub-Ecoparks. However, the Pokémon from the Sub-Ecoparks would still have to pass through the main Ecopark when moving, so these Pokéblocks remained untouched.

When the relocation wasplete, Yuga looked at the Miltanks happily grazing on the grass, the Tauros running freely, and the affectionate Skiddo. He felt content.

The Miltanks had found their mates, and the rest was up to them.
