Chapter 425
When Alyssa and Hazel hurried back and opened the door, they saw that the television in the hall was
turned on.
Alyssa looked around and called out, "E?"
Ang stood up from the sofa. Her chin and face were full of potato chips. Her hair was messy and she
was holding the remote control in her hand.
When she saw Alyssa, her eyes brighten up and called out in surprise, "Mommy."
Ang was small. She had just sat on the sofa and was blocked by the back of the sofa. So when she
called out, Alyssa did not see her.
Ang ran down from the sofa and ran towards Alyssa barefooted. Her hands were still tightly
clutching the remote control.
“Mommy.”
Alyssa coordinated with her height and squatted down to wipe the potato chips on her face. She carried
her up and asked, "What are you doing?"
"I''m watching TV." Ang waved the remote control in her hand and pointed at the TV behind her.
Hazel walked to the sofa and looked. She saw snacks all over the sofa. There were potato chips and
candy scattered on it. There was a bottle of yogurt next to it.
Hazel saw this and could not stopughing. "Oh my god, how did E find my snacks and even tore
them apart by herself?! She is too powerful!"
Alyssa carried Ang over and saw the mess on the sofa. She did not know whether tough or cry.
"Did you take all these yourself?" Alyssa ced Ang on the sofa and stood up, allowing her gaze to
be on the same level as her.
Alyssa''s expression looked a little serious. Ang probably also felt that her mother''s expression was
not quite right. So, she rubbed the back of her little hand to her back and blinked her eyes. She said in
a small voice, "Yes."
Seeing Ang’s expression, Hazel pushed Alyssa a little. "You scared her."
"Look, did you make Auntie Hazel''s sofa dirty?" Alyssa pointed at the snacks on the sofa and asked
her.
Ang looked at Alyssa''s hand and nodded nkly.
Alyssa''s tone could not help but soften a little. "Next time you can''t make the sofa full of snacks. Do you
want to help Auntie Hazel clean it up?"
Ang very obediently replied, "Okay."
Alyssa looked at Ang''s obedient appearance and suddenly felt her nose turn sour.
She suddenly turned her back and tears rolled out of her eyes.
Seeing Alyssa suddenly turn down, Ang asked with uncertainly, “Mommy. . .”
Alyssa steadied her mind and tried to make her voice sound as usual, “Help Auntie Hazel clean the
sofa, OK? Mommy needs to use the bathroom."
After she finished speaking, she hurried to the bathroom.
Once Alyssa entered the bathroom and closed the door abruptly, she leaned against the door. She
slowly slid onto the floor and covered her face with her hands to suppress the sound of crying.
Outside the door, Ang saw Alyssa suddenly turn around and go to the bathroom to close the door.
She helplessly pointed at the bathroom door and looked at Hazel, "Mommy?"
Outside the door, Ang saw Alyssa suddenly turn around and go to the bathroom to close the door.
She helplessly pointed at the bathroom door and looked at Hazel, "Mommy?"
Hazel naturally heard the crying sound in Alyssa''s voice just now.
She could understand Alyssa’s feelings right now.
Hazel smiled and said to Ang, "Mommy is washing her hands and wille out immediately. Ang
first helps auntie clean the sofa."
Hazel brought a towel. When Ang was cleaning the sofa together with Hazel, she would look at the
bathroom from time to time.
She looked very anxious and looked very adorable.
Hazel walked to the door of the bathroom and knocked on the door, "Alyssa, are you okay?"
Alyssa''s voice came from inside. "It''s okay, I wille out immediately."
Alyssa stood up and walked to the washing table. She washed her face and silently looked at herself in
the mirror whose eyes were red.
When she saw Ang''s obedient appearance just now, Alyssa suddenly felt very sad.
Being her daughter was not happy at all.

Ever since Ang had been born, she had not been able to take a good look at Ang and had not
been able to protect and care her well.
As soon as she was born, Ang had been stolen away by someone else. When they finally had the
chance to pick her up, that kind of ident happened again.
Three years.
She should have been raised by her mother for three years. However, Alyssa had never participated in
it.
Alyssa had been absent from her life for three years, the most first three years in Ang’s life.
She did know what her daughter’s first word was, when her daughter walked for the first time or when
she smiled for the first time. She had never participated in any of these moments.
She missed everything.
When Ang called her mother just now, she even felt guilty.
She did not deserved to be a mother.
Alyssa looked up, closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
When she opened her eyes again, her eyes were already clear and firm.
Alyssa opened the bathroom door and came out. She saw Hazel cleaning the sofa with Ang. They
looked at each other seriously and were talking.
"Slowly wipe the garbage off like this, bit by bit."
"I wiped off the stuff!"
"You''re awesome!"
They squatted on the sofa and wiped their things. The scene looked harmonious and warm.
Alyssa noticed that Ang was still barefoot. She lifted her foot and went to the room to get a pair of
socks. She then brought out a pair of furry slippers.
When Ang saw Alyssa, she raised the towel in her hand and said proudly, "Mommy, I wiped it."
"Very good." Alyssa smiled at her, "Put on your socks first."
"Okay." Ang still remembered Alyssa''s serious look from before. She thought that she had done
something wrong to make Mommy angry, so she was very obedient now.
Ang kept smiling at her when Alyssa was helping her put on her socks. She looked a little silly.
Alyssa reached out to touch her head, "I am not angry but it is not right for you to put things all over the
sofa. You cannot do this in the future."
Ang nodded.
When the three of them tidied up the sofa and put away the snacks Ang did not eat, it was already
night.
Alyssa cooked dinner for Ang and Hazel.
When Hazel went to help, Alyssa pushed her out.
Hazel had a cheerful personality and loved to y. She did not need to learn to tease the little child.
She waspletely acting on her own.
Most of the children liked beautiful people. If this beautiful person was still ying with her, they would
like it even more.
Ang and Hazel''s rtionship hadpletely improved by leaps and bounds. They yed happily in
the living room.
Alyssa brought out the food and called out to them, "Hazel, Ang, it’s time to eat."
"We are here." Hazel shouted and led Ang to the dining table.
Ang followed. As she ran, she said while giggling, "We''re here!"
The two of them sat down at the dining table.
Alyssa brought the soup over and looked at Hazel. She said in a teasing tone, "Hazel, may I ask if you
and Ang have washed their hands?"
Hazel replied, ". . . No."
While they were eating, Alyssa helped Ang put some vegetables into the bowl and mixed rice.
When Hazel saw that, she suddenly remembered something. She raised her head and said to Alyssa,
"There was a time when I saw Emmett and Ang eating together in the Golden Fountain Club. He. . ."
When she heard the words "Emmett," Ang immediately looked up and widened her eyes. "Empett,
my Daddy."
“Huh?” Hazel was a little stunned.
"She calls Emmett Empett." When Alyssa mentioned this, she could not help butugh.
It was funny that Emmett, with his arrogant personality, would one day admit defeat in the hands of
others other than her.
Moreover, it was only a three years old child.
Hazel heard this and alsoughed out loud. "Ang called him Empett? Won''t he be angry and beat
her up?"
Ang heard Hazel mention Emmett, so she heard it very seriously.
She did not understand what Hazel said, but she nodded fiercely and said. "Yes. And he beat me."
