Chapter 50 Then I’ll’Sleep On The Floor
Gilderoy said in a low voice, “Master, you’re only going to be 80 years old next year.”
Samuel said, “There’s a reason our ancestors celebrate their birthdays early.”
“Alright, I’ll arrange it immediately,” Gilderoy immediately said.
Albert and Christopher looked at each other with a smile in their eyes.
They thought that a birthday celebration would be a good thing, as that would mean gift presentations
and showcase of talents.
When the time came, they would invite all of Jadeborough’s reporter friends over for a live broadcast.
Annalise was neither rich nor talented. She would be a disgrace to Julian.
If Julian lost face, his poprity in Jadeborough would decrease. At that time, if they secretly fanned
the mes, some expiring contracts might not be renewed.
Julian was currently the general manager of Parks Group, acting as president.
Half a year ago, the important figures in their family sat down for a meeting. Samuel said that Julian
had been the general manager of Parks Group for two years. His performance was for all to see, and
Samuel wanted to push Julian directly to the president’s position.
The act faced opposition from the families of Samuel’s brothers. Their reason was that Julian had done
well in the first two years because of the good market. Now that the global economy was affected, if he
could do well within the year, they would approve Julian and let him be the Parks Group’s president.
They figured that as long as Annalise would bring shame to Julian in Samuel’s banquet, the
coborators would definitely consider carefully whether to renew their contracts. After all, if the wife of
a group leader was useless, it meant that the ship could sink at any time.
Albert immediately said, “Yes, Samuel, the birthday banquet should indeed be held this year.”
Christopher added, “That’s right. Our family hasn’t been so lively for a long time. This time, we have to
make it a big one.”
Samuel looked at Julian and Alexander. “What do you think?”
Alexander smiled and said, “Grandpa’s 80th birthday celebration should be grand.”
Julian said, “I’ll go with Gilderoy tomorrow to make the arrangements.”
Albert and Christopher immediately said, “We’ll also let Timothy and Jaimee along.”
Albert asked again, “Samuel, what day of the week would it be?”
Samuel suddenly shouted, “Get lost!”

Christopher immediately pulled him back. “Samuel’s birthday is at 10th of July. It happens to be next
Saturday.”
Albert apologized awkwardly. “Samuel, look at me. I’m old and getting senile. I guess I got your
birthday mixed up or something. Please don’t hold it against me. Oh, right, I also promised to buy toys
for my great grandson. I have to go pick it up now. Goodbye, Samuell
Christopher also found an excuse to leave.
At their age, they didn’t care much about food anymore, but they were very obsessed with power and

After the two old men left, Julian and the others soon finished eating.
Samuel said, “You guys rushed over early in the morning. It’s been hard on you. Go and rest.”

Samuel’s teachings were stili vivid in her mind. It did not matter what happened in private. When there
were outsiders present, she had to act distant. She did not want to let Samuel down for protecting her.
Everyone went to rest.
The Parks Residenceplex was very big. Alexander lived in a house next door with his parents.
Samuel and Julian lived in the house where they were eating at the moment.

Tony and his wife had spent most of their time overseas, which meant that Alexander lived alone in the
house next door most of the time.
In addition to these two houses, there were several other houses in the Parks Residenceplex.

Samuel had all of them move away because he wanted peace and quiet.

Julian took Annalise to his suite first.
After entering Julian’s suite, Julian took a folded set of pajamas from the bed and handed it to Annalise.
“Go take a shower and take a nap.”

Thinking that she shouldn’t have such emotions, she said, “No need. I brought my clothes. By the way,
have our suitcases been delivered?”
At the airport, Julian said that the driver would bring their luggage over.

and teased her, “The luggage is not here yet.” He wondered if she misunderstand that the pajamas
belonged to another woman.
“Alright, I’ll go take a shower and just wear what I have now,” Annalise said.

Annalise was speechless.
She looked in the direction of the bed. She had originally nned to discuss with Julian that she would
sleep on the bed on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and he would sleep on the bed on Tuesday,
Thursday, and Saturday. She could not let herself suffer all the losses alone after all.
After all, they were married under a contract. It didn’t matter if they enjoyed different benefits. They still
had to bear the burden together.

She said, “Then I’ll sleep on the ground in the future.”

Annalise was a little angry. “What are youughing at? I can’t even sleep on the floor?”
Previously, he had always given her the feeling that he did not despise her identity. She didn’t see why
he couldn’t just let her sleep on the floor.
She wondered how dirty were her clothes.
Seeing that Annalise was really going to get angry, Julian smiled gently at her and handed her the
pajamas. “The pajamas are new. I asked the servants at home to buy them in your size. They’ve
already been washed.”
“My size?” Annalise looked at Julian in surprise.
There was a hint of surprise and a little doubt. She wondered how did he know her size.
“You have a standard figure. I just bought it based on your approximate height and weight,” Julian
exined. “Thank you!” Annalise immediately thanked him. She could not help but smile.
She had almost misunderstood him just now.
Now that he exined, the unhappiness in her heart instantly disappeared, and her mood improved.
Julian added, “No woman has evere here except for the servants. You’re the first.” And he hoped
that she was thest!
Annalise’s ears heated up for no reason. She immediately said, “I’m going to take a shower.”
With that, she hurried into the bathroom.
As soon as she closed the door, she realized that she had not brought a towel.
Julian stood at the bathroom door and said with a smile, “The blue towel is mine. The pink one is for
you. It’s all new.”
“Oh, got it.” Annalise’s cheeks felt even hotter.
Julian smiled and told Annalise that the hairdryer was in the cab.
With that, he went to the next room to take a shower.
The room next door was a guest room, but no guests had ever stayed there.
