    the boxing ring, and headed for the changing room.


    As Jack watched Kirk leave, he couldn’t help but move closer to Sean and whisper, “Dr. Yates, what


    should we do now? Are we just going to let him spiral even further?”


    “What else can we do? Do you have any better ideas?” Sean asked helplessly.


    Jack sighed, “I never thought sir would be hurt in a rtionship.”-


    “He’s also a human, you know.” Just as Sean sighed, he spotted Kirk, whohad already changed his


    clothes


    and walked out of the changing room.


    Sean quickly approached him. “Are you going home now?”


    Kirk didn’t answer him. He simply walked toward the door. Sean and Jack were worried about him and


    followed him into the car.


    Fortunately, it was alreadyte at night, and there weren’t many cars on the road. Otherwise, Kirk


    would have caused an ident from how recklessly he drove.


    Half an hourter, they arrived at a bar. Before Sean and Jack could figure out what was happening,


    Kirk had already gotten out of the car and walked into the bar.


    After entering the bar, he strode toward the private room. It was evident that he was a regr there.


    When the bar owner saw Kirk arrive, he greeted him with a smile. “Sir, do you want the usual?”


    Kirk said, “Give me twice as much.”


    The owner’s eyes lit up at his words. “All right! The guests in room 107 will get twice the booze!”


    At first, neither Sean nor Jack knew what that entailed.


    Then, the waiters ced bottle/after bottle of alcohol on the table, piling them up and soon spreading


    them as far as the floor.


    Only then did they understand why the owner had looked so excited, as if he had seen a gold mine.


    After selling so many drinks, they probably didn’t have to worry about their sales this year.

    Sean grabbed one of the waiters. “Does hee here often?”


    The waiter was a woman. She blushed and didn’t dare to look at Sean at all. “Yes.”


    Sean’s expression shifted at her words, and he turned to look at Kirk. Kirk had already opened a bottle


    of alcohol and started drinking.


    Sean was so angry that he walked up to his friend and grabbed the bottle.


    Upon seeing this, Jack hurriedly drove the waiters out and closed the door.


    “Kirk, we know that you feel terrible. That’s why we don’t say anything when you go nuts. Not just that


    but we also indulged you. But I’ve realized that it won’t do you any good if I keep doing that.”


    Kirk was still holding the air where the bottle used to be. His voice turned cold as he ordered, “Give it to


    me!”


    Sean shivered at his tone, but he still held the bottle tightly. “I know you’re devastated, and there’s


    nothing I can say to soothe your pain. But if you hurt yourself like this, don’t you think the Caroline who


    didn’t lose her memories would feel distressed to see you like this?”


    “I think the madam would feel distressed even if she has lost her memory,” Jack said weakly.
