    Seeing how pitiful Howard was and how that he had no hope of surviving, Charles mercifully decided to

    Charles nced at him sympathetically. “It’s Mr. Kirk’s and Madam Caroline’s home. Do you get it

    After getting a definite answer, Howard felt his strength draining away. And he slumped to the

    After seeing the sign above the operating theatre light up, Caroline felt her legs turn into jelly, and tears

    Jude had gotten into danger because he had tried to save her. If anything happened to him, Caroline


    would never be able to forgive herself.


    “It’ll be fine. He’ll be okay.” Kirk gently patted Caroline’s back, but his gaze was dark.

    He looked sullenly at the operation theatre’s doors, feeling like a beast was trapped there. If it was

    At the thought of this, Kirk couldn’t resist hugging Caroline tighter.
