When the three of them had been in university, they had fallen in love with the same woman.
At the beginning, they hadn’t realized it. They had even helped each othere up with ideas on how

each other that they liked her. That had been the moment they had found out.
The news hade like a lightning strike out of the blue.
“When I got to know that we liked the same person back then, I honestly felt like dying.” Talking about
the past, Jude lost the stern expression on his face. Instead, he looked old and doddery.
“I didn’t know what the two of them were thinking. But seeing as we all split up after that, they must
have felt the same way.”
After finding out that they had been in love with the same woman, they had drifted apart.
Although they had agreed topete fairly, they soon found that the others had been secretly sending
gifts.
With that, the agreement among them had been broken, and they had started to fight among each
other openly.
Jude didn’t even remember what had started their first fight. He only remembered how they had

The taunts of their coursemates, coupled with their own resentment, had driven them into a no-

The woman had soon found out that the three of them had been fighting because of her.
Upon reasling that, she had withdrawn herself from the university and gone home, unable to bear
