Seeing how Liam kept on checking the time, Caroline asked, “Are you in a rush to go somewhere?”

“Then why are you checking the time so frequently?”

Raising his eyes to look at Caroline, Liam smiled at her and said, “It’s nothing. You’ll know what it
is soon. Let’s continue our talk from just now, shall we?”

Caroline’s expression changed. Hastily, she turned to look at Jack, who swayed, obviously drugged,
just like her.

Grabbing Jack’s arm, she dashed for the door but was stopped in her tracks when she saw two brawny
men blocking their path.
