    Eddy’s body shuddered violently with anger. He looked at Caroline as she stumbled away. Suddenly,


    he felt that the distance between them was gettingrger. It felt like they were worlds apart.

    Caroline’s furious re sent chills down La’s spine. For the very first time, La saw so much
