    The bodyguard shook his head. “I don’t know, but they are in a heated argument.”


    Caroline set aside her spoon, puzzled, and went to the door. She heard two voices she recognized


    before she saw the people.


    “Price, are you vengeful or something? Has my car offended you?” Paige shouted


    “It was you who suddenly drove in reverse. I wasn’t the one who crashed forward on purpose,” Alex


    exined patiently.


    Paige burst out inughter. “You might as well im that I’m blind!”


    “There’s nothing I can do if you choose to think that way,” Alex saidzily

    “A certain individual asked me to visit Tyler to show concern on their behalf.”

    Caroline was about to speak while observing their endless argument. But before she could say

    reassured her, “Jamie, those are my friends. Please go inside I’ll handle this

    Hearing the noise, Alex nced over. He caught a glimpse of a familiar face, but Caroline’s figure


    blocked his view.


    Alex furrowed his eyebrow, thinking, ‘Why does the woman look so much like Evan’s mother?”


    How could Evan’s mother be acquainted with Caroline?


    When Caroline approached to stop the quarrel, he dismissed the absurd thought.


    “Stop quarreling out here. There’s space in the house for you to utilize your skills, and the neighbors


    won’t watch.”


    Paige red at Alex, grunted, and approached Caroline. “Let’s go, Carol. Ignore him!”
