Danie’s resentment surged, and her expression quickly changed. “What does it have to do with you?
Who are you to criticize me here?”
Paige fired back, undeterred. “I’m not as shameless as you. Despite being with Mr. Jordan, you still
hooked up with another man.”

Danie trembled with anger. “You! Cut the crap!”

Caroline’s head throbbed from their argument. “Paige, let’s not argue with her. It’s pointless.”

Caroline nodded and watched Paige leave the room.
Then, her gaze fell on Danie, whose face was livid with rage.
Caroline spoke coldly, “Is there anything else?”
Danie sneered, “Caroline, you’re just a nobody to me. You better know your ce, or my grandpa
won’t let a homewrecker like you off the hook.”
Caroline smirked. “Please ask your grandpa to deal with Evan first.”
Enraged, Danie lunged toward Caroline, raising her hand to p her.
But before she could make contact, someone intervened and tried to stop her at the door.
