Since Cedrick intentionally performed poorly during the game and Kieran was an amateur, Gwendolyn
confidently scored the final point.

man, like him who used to train in the army. I bet he’ll finish it in one go without breaking a sweat,” Inez
uttered.
Kieran followed up. “What about you, Inez? Perhaps I should do a hundred push-ups just like Cedrick?”
Gwendolyn took in the looks on all three of their faces, and her expression became increasingly
amused.
“I’m not done yet, Kieran. Why are you in such a hurry? I’ll be sitting on Cedrick while he’s doing his
push-ups. In addition, he has to use his core strength to burst a hundred water balloons
simultaneously. If his torso identally touches the ground, it won’t count
Kieran and Inez’s mouths dropped open.
“A hundred water balloons?” Inez was dubious. “Water balloons are exceptionally stic and

balloons being used as a prop to be burst by the two men while doing push-ups and were eager to
witness such a spectacle.
Gwendolyn, Cedrick, Kieran, and Inez swiftly exited the pool and moved up onnd.
Cedrick and Kieran obediently got into position and were ready to begin their drill.

pails that contained water balloons. Aside from acting as weights, their duties included cing the

“Are both of you ready?” Gwendolyn queried attentively.
The two men hummed a sound of agreement.
Inez imitated Gwendolyn by cing a water balloon on the floor tiles below Kieran.
Thus began the first push-up.
The arms of both men bent as they brought their full weight down on the water balloons. Nevertheless,
the sticity of the water balloons was not to be trifled with.
Their bodies almost touched the ground, yet the water balloons showed no hints of popping.
Cedrick and Kieran maintained the same posture for several minutes. The veins on their arms were
bulging, proof they were giving it their all.
This was when Cedrick realized this punishment was not as simple as he’d thought it would be and that
Gwendolyn’s idea had more to it.
Both men were already struggling with the first push-up when there were ny-nine more water

Cedrick took a deep breath and asked Gwendolyn gingerly, “Darling, what if I fail toplete the one
hundred push-ups today?”
Gwendolyn suppressed herughter and eyed him impishly. “It seems to me like Mr. Jenson and Mr.
Kieran better train harder to improve your physiques since both of you can’t even make it past the first
water balloon. If so, we won’t return to the hotel tonight. I’ll reserve the pool area the entire night, and
we’ll only depart once both of you have reached your target.”
