Gwendolyn did not answer right away. Instead, she turned to look at the man by her side, Cedrick.
Then she saw the gloomy look in his eyes as he resentfully stared at her.
He was ready to submit, but right as he was about to have it, someone interrupted. It was torture.

I’ll be resting at home. Let her stay if she wants to wait, but do serve her snacks and drinks. If she

happened.

Gwendolyn drove to the remote area. It was dark, so she had to use a torch to find Jennifer, who was

Walking over, Gwendolyn crouched before Jennifer and gently asked, “Jennifer, why are you here?
What‘ happened? Tell me, and I’ll help you out.”
Jennifer hung her head, seemingly tired and dispirited. “Mr. Treyton has been strict with metely

memories made her seem much younger and more naive than Gwendolyn.

you want to go back.”
