    Sean felt relieved. After all, Cynthia was K, and I was trustable.


    “The things he told you at the hospital were instructions he gave me beforehand. During the journey to


    the hospital, he regained consciousness once and told me to ry those messages to you if his


    condition worsened,” Sean exined.


    Cynthia frowned.


    Sean continued, “He doesn’t want you to feel guilty or me yourself. He believes those things are his


    responsibility.”


    “So, you’re saying he didn’t wake up at the hospital?” Cynthia quickly concluded.


    “Not only did he not wake up, but his condition was severe,” Sein revealed openly. After all, it was all in


    the past. “If it weren’t for me treating him, he would’ve been dead long ago.”

    “I’m not particrly clear about what happened between you, but based on Joshua’s actions after he


    got injured, he truly loved you,” Sean spoke as an observer.

    Sean added, “You don’t have to worry about him pestering you after he recovers. Based on what he


    told me, he won’t bother you if you don’t want him to.”


    Sometimes Sean felt that Joshua was quite contradictory.

    “So, you willingly took him with you?” Sean asked. He was still afraid that Cynthia would think he had


    tricked her. Leaving a way out and maintaining a good rtionship for future encounters was important.

    Cynthia nodded and followed Sean to sign some documents. Then, she left the medical facility with
