    more of it. Matthew was relieved that he had not been on the speaker. If Cynthia had overheard, she


    might start doubting him.


    Later that evening, Cynthia returned home. Left alone on his couch, Matthew started to ponder over

    did not inquire about where jayleen was heading or whether she nned to continue modeling or


    pursue something else. To her, Jayleen was merely a passerby.


    After dinner, Cynthia returned to Arch International. She did not have much on her te. After


    reviewing her schedule for the day, she called Moe into her office. Captain had been with thepany
