“You can’t even drink two bottles of wine, yet you have the audacity toe to the business
cooperation here?”
Joshua sat at the head of the table, looking handsome and indifferent in his suit.
“Do you really think this is a ce where you can make money just by your looks?”
Cynthia’s head was pulsing.
She came here to make trouble for Thomas Quinn.
Thomas was Mr. Yates’s new wife’s older brother.
On the surface, Shirley’s incident seemed to have been caused by Timothy Quinn, Mrs. Quinn’s
younger brother, but Timothy would not have done it without the cunning Thomas’s instruction.
There was no legal way to deal with him, so Cynthia had toe in person. She would give a good

“Mr. Neal offered you a drink as a courtesy, so why are you still standing there?!”

Jimmy sat there in fear.
It was not because of what the people at the table were saying, but it was purely because he felt that
these people were courting death. Thest person who threatened Cynthia would go out of their way to
avoid her!
“Mr. Neal, this kind of woman must be taught a lesson.”
Thomas dressed well and appeared like a decent man, but his words needed to be more sophisticated.
“We should take her back to the hotel and teach a lesson.”
Joshua’s cold gaze swept over, and he calmly said, “Is that so?”
“Of course!” Thomas’s lecherous eyes nced at Cynthia. “If you need my assistance, I’ll have
someone prepare a room at the hotel and send her over.”
The others frowned slightly.
They could not understand why someone like Joshua would invite someone like Thomas to dinner. Not
to mention hispany was just a small to medium–sized enterprise, but his nauseatingly lewd
personality was enough to disgust anyone!

“Okay.” Joshua agreed, adding, “But I don’t want anyone to touch her before me.”

He looked at Cynthia with his inscrutable obsidian eyes, feeling a burning anger inside him.
He wanted to teach this woman a lesson!
“Mr. Neal, don’t worry!” Thomasughed with confidence. “I guarantee that we’ll deliver her to your
room intact, so you can enjoy her when you get back.”
Joshua remained silent, emitting an oppressive aura around him. He would never have sat down for a
meal with this trash if it were not for his desire to learn about the Yates family.
He had already dismissed his suspicions about Cynthia, but then he found out a few days ago. that she
was investigating Shirley’s ident and had sessfully handed Timothy over to the police.
A mere bodyguard would not be so concerned about Shirley’s situation.
“That doesn’t sound like a good idea…” Jimmy nervously spoke up, and his words immediately caught
Joshua and Cynthia’s attention.
Joshua’s gaze became even darker while Cynthia red at him, giving him a warning.
“Young Master Barnes, do you have any issues with this?” Joshua’s deep, maic voice sounded
calm but exuded a strong sense of pressure.
Jimmy involuntarily looked at Cynthia, but the terrifying look in her eyes scared him into silence.

However, Joshua thought Jimmy’s cowardice meant he was worried for Cynthia.
Jimmy wanted to say something but could not muster the courage under the pressure of Joshua’s
power.
Finally, Joshua said, “Do you think she’s pretty and unworthy of me?”
“Mr. Neal, that’s not what my son meant.” Mr. Barnes noticed Joshua’s displeasure and read the
