Chapter 1218
Clyde was giving off some serious cold vibes.
Sienna shot a side–eye at a down–and–out looking Wesley and scolded, “You’ve gotta learn to
appreciate, boy. Your brother has given you such a great chance. If you can’t even be grateful for that,
by all means, keep wasting your time out there.”
Wesley zipped his lips and replied, “Got it, grandma.”
Sienna put down her cup and said, “Liam, find a position for Kaylee. Nothing too fancy, just something
where she can learn a thing or two.”
Liam nced at Kaylee, who was sitting ramrod straight, lips sealed, and not daring to meet his gaze.
Every time she saw him, Kaylee would recall the moment Liam took her from Clyde’s house and
handed her over to the cops.

Those once–cherished memories turned into nightmares that day. Every time she thought of her days
in detention, she couldn’t control her fear and hatred
Liam kept silent for a moment and then said casually, “She can start in the secretarial department. I’ll
have Owen guide her.”
Owen shot his boss a disgruntled look. Wasn’t babysitting a job for a nanny? This wasn’t a daycare.
But Sienna was satisfied with this arrangement.
Owen was personally groomed by Liam and was destined to be a key figure in thepany’s
leadership. His capabilities and ways of handling things were top–notch. By entrusting Kaylee to Owen,
Liam was clearly taking her on as his responsibility.
“Kaylee, are you okay with your brother’s arrangement? Speak up if you have other thoughts.”
Kaylee replied with her head lowered, “I will follow my brother’s lead”
Sienna nodded, That’s settled then. Owen, take Kaylee toplete the onboarding and start work
tomorrow”
With a helpless nod, Owen turned to Kaylee and said, “Ms. Kaylee, pleasee with me.”
Kaylee followed Owen out, her lips still tightly sealed.
Sienna cast another look at Clyde and his son and grumbled, “All of you get out too. Making mee
all this way for such a petty issue. I’m getting a headache just talking to you. What a waste of my
precious time!”
Clyde didn’t mean to drag her into this.
He knew Sienna favored Liam, so he could only take his son and leave, along with Mr. Robinson.
Once they left, Sienna turned to Liam and scolded, “You’re way too reckless! Aren’t you afraid of being
criticized by the shareholders at the meeting?”
Liam loosened his tie, “If they really do criticize me, then they have a point.”
Sienna scoffed, “You’re such a thick–skinned man.”
After saying this, she remembered the phone call earlier and paused to ask, “Was that Celeste on the
phone?”
Liam nodded.
Sienna’s headache and annoyance instantly evaporated, and she asked enthusiastically, “Is Celeste
living with you?”
Liam replied, “Not yet.”
The old woman’s face instantly fell, “You’re useless!”
Liam exined, “Letti’s an actress now. She’ll be followed by paparazzi, so it’s not suitable for her to
stay at my ce.”
Sienna med him, “Couldn’t you consider living at her ce? You’re so clever when ites to
causing havoc, why do you turn so dumb when chasing a girl?”
Liam felt the need to rify, “Grandma, I’ve already won Letti over.”
