    She gritted her teeth and decided to go for broke, “My dear, stop being angry with me, you can punish


    me however you want when we get home, okay? Being angry is bad for your health. It hurts me to see


    you like this.”


    Liam’s heart skipped a beat


    He looked down to see Celeste looking at him with puppy dog eyes. She knew him too well.

    He nced at her and asked in a deep voice, “How long did you two date?”


    Celeste came clean, “Last semester of senior year.”


    Liam’s brows furrowed abruptly getting hot under the cor “You’re about to apply for colleges, and


    you’re in the mood for love?”


    Celest replied in a hushed tone. “That’s why we split after just two weeks I was afraid it’d mess up my


    future.”


    Liam grudgingly epted this reasoning, then continued to grill her. ‘Did you go after him, or did he


    come after you?”


    Celeste lowered her voice, “Can we continue this at home?”


    Liam stared at her, “You initiated it, didn’t you?”


    Celeste was speechless


    She licked her lips lightly and said, “We were at the same summer camp, sharing a desk. He seemed a


    bit slow, always forgetting what the teacher said, and kept borrowing my notes. After a while, I found
