    “Why not buy another one?”


    Even though Celeste said this, she still reached under the table and opened the gift box.


    She pinched the item inside with two fingers, then froze.

    So all this was just to get her to open the box


    Celeste felt warm inside but pretended to be angry on the outside, “If I hadn’t stopped you just now, I’d


    like to see how you’d handle it when someone else discovered your “gift”


    Liam said, “With such fancy packaging, how could you resist?”


    After saying this, he paused, then said softly, “It was meant for you to see anyway.”


    Nics ate his jealousy in silence. He really shouldn’t have interrupted.


    Just as he was cursing the sweet couple, Trisha, phone in hand, finally arrived.


    Nics spotted her in the crowd and waved, “Over here!”


    Trisha ran over immediately, grabbing a ss of juice from the table and downing half of it, “Guess who


    I saw on the way here?”


    A muscle in Nics’s eye twitched, and he asked calmly, “Jace is here?”


    Trisha looked confused, “Why would Dr. Ledford be here? He’s not close to Shawn.”


    Nics was relieved, “Then who?”


    “Jarred Wilson!”

    Hearing Damon’s name, Nics understood


    Enchanted Media Group was one of the earliest mediapanies in the country, a veteran in the


    industry. Theirpany promoted many big stars from the 1990s to the early millennium.


    Even though mediapanies are springing up like mushrooms after a rain, and star studios are also


    grabbing resources, Enchanted Media Group, as a veteran in the industry, its top–tier resources are

    “Does Shawn know anyone from the Wilson family?”


    Celeste shook her head and answered, “Not that I know of.”
