    She was just about to sneak away. But Liam was having none of it. Wrapping his arms around her


    waist, he hoisted her up and plonked her down on the bathroom counter.


    The mist from the shower fogged up the mirror behind Celeste. Liam’s hand rested on the mirror as he


    looked at her with hisshes lowered.


    Sitting across from him, Celeste tried to avoid his intense gaze by looking down. But the sight of his


    bare body made her quickly look up again. Her eyes darted around the room, unsure of where to look.


    Liam chuckled softly, leaning in close to tease her. His lips were so close to her face, they were almost


    touching.


    Her ears turned red. She pushed against his chest, trying to get down from the counter. Only for him to


    suddenly lean in, trapping her between the mirror and him.


    He waspletely naked. Water droplets falling from his hair, running down his cheek, chin,

    Liam suddenly pinched her bottom. Celeste, unprepared, let out a yelp. Liam didn’t use much force, but


    the pinch was embarrassing. Celeste’s face turned red up to her ears. Covering the pinched area, she


    red at him, “What the hell?”


    Liam bit her lip as if to punish her, but it wasn’t hard. It was a slight pain that quickly turned into a kiss.


    He said, “We haven’t settled the matter of you two pretending to be a couple.”


    Celeste asked, “Isn’t that a thing of the past?”


    Liam looked down, confidently saying. “But mypensation hasn’t arrived yet.”


    Celeste asked, “What do you want?”


    Liam leaned in close to her ear and whispered something. Celeste’s eyes widened, then her ears and


    neck turned red. She snapped, “That’s something from the film crew. How could I get it for you? Quit


    daydreaming.


    Liam said, “Everything can be bought with money.”


    Celeste refused to back down, “If you want to make a call, you call Zach. I care about my dignity, I can’t


    make that request.”


    Liam calmly said, “I can call, but are you sure that if I do, he won’t think more of it?”


    Celeste hesitated for a while, but in the end, she called Zach. Zach had just taken a shower and was


    reading a script when he got her call.

    Zach paused, “That dress is worth tens of thousands of dors. How much are you paid? Spending that


    much money on a piece of decoration, have you lost your mind?”


    Celesteughed, saying, “Forget I asked. Liam, give me back my phone!”


    There was amotion on the other end of the line, then a deep male voice said, “100,000 dors. If


    that’s okay, I send someone to pick it up right now.”


    Celeste was trying to snatch the phone back and cursing at the same time, “Liam, you idiot. Are you


    just burning money?”


    Zach was taken aback, then quickly said, “Deal“.


    Half an hourter, the dress appeared at Pinecrest Manor.


    The two of them stood in front of the dress for a good half minute. Celeste was about to run away when


    Liam wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her into his arms.


    He rested his chin on her shoulder, whispering, “Ms. Campbell, time to change.”

    Celeste grabbed the dress and was about to go upstairs when Liam called her back, “Change right


    here.”


    Celeste was taken aback.


    Liam sat on the couch with his legs crossed, elbow on the armrest, looking at her with appreciation. He


    had just taken a shower. But instead of pajamas, he was wearing trousers and a shirt.


    While waiting for the dress, he evenbed his hair. Now, he looked every bit the cool and collected


    businessman.


    Facing this Liam, Celeste’s heartbeat unconsciously quickened. But she didn’t lose her sanity, firmly


    rejecting Liam’s request, “You’re going too far.”


    Liam slowly said, “Isn’t the method ofpensation supposed to be determined by the person being


    compensated? If you can’t do it, then what’s the point ofpensation?”


    Celeste gritted her teeth, “Haven’t you seen me change before?”


    Liam was very direct, “I haven’t seen you change into a dress.”
