Chapter 841
Luci declined, “Sorry, I don’t know you.”
Celeste chuckled, “Don’t you want to know how you became Shawn’s mistress?”
Luci didn’t speak
Owen was surprised. Ms. Campbell was faster than Mr. Reed.
Luci clutched her phone, her heart pounding, “What are you trying to say?”
Celeste said, “Ms. Preston, don’t be nervous. I mean no harm, but it’s not convenient to talk about
these things over the phone. Let’s meet at the coffee shop at the
corner of Oak Street tomorrow. You can refuse if you’re not interested in what I have to say”
Luci looked hesitant. Liam gestured with his lips, “Agree to it.”
Luci said, “Ok, see you tomorrow”
After hanging up. Luci tumed to Liam, “Why did you have me agree to it?”
Liam said casually, “The one who called was my loved one.”
Luci was surprised.
This couple didn’t even coordinate and came to find her separately?
Liam continued, “Go on time tomorrow, agree to whatever she says. I’ll make good on my promise”
With such a good offer, of course, Luci wouldn’t refuse.
On the other side, at Grandview Heights.
After hanging up the phone, Trisha asked eagerly. “So, did she agree?”
Celeste nodded, “We’re meeting tomorrow morning”
“Do you want me to apany you?” Trisha asked.
Celeste shook her head. This matter is not very honorable, more people might make her unwilling to
talk to me.”

The detective had brought back some news. Shawn had a mistress named Luci, who was younger
than Angel.
At first, Celeste wanted to use this to stir up trouble for Helen, to make Shawn and her fight against
each other
But after learning about Luci’s situation and seeing her picture, she dismissed the idea.
What she wanted was not just to pit them against each other, but also extreme revenge, and the
evidence to bring them to justice.
Early the next morning, Celeste arrived at the agreed ce to wait.
At nine o’clock sharp, a young girl in a white T–shirt and light blue jeans appeared in the shop.
Celeste raised her hand and called out, “Ms. Preston, I’m over here.”
Luci turned around and saw a girl with a mask and curly hair waving at her.
She moved forward and asked tentatively, “Ms. Campbell?”
Celeste nodded, “Please sit down, would you like something to drink?”
“I don’t like coffee,” said Luci as she pulled out a chair, “What do you want to talk about?”
Celeste didn’t beat around the bush. She took a photo out of her bag and slid it across the table
towards Luci, “Take a look”
Luci peered down at the photo. It depicted a girl, perched next to a bicycle, clutching a book. Her hair
was done up in pig tails and she was all smiles.
But the girl’s face looked familiar. Like hers
“That’s my mom, Celeste said calmly, “Shawn’s ex–wife”
Luci blinked.
“You met Shawn at a job fair, didn’t you?” continued Celeste
Luci snapped back to reality. “How did you know?”
Celeste gave a small smile, “Because that’s how his current wife met him, too”
Luci felt a bit uneasy, and murmured, “I never wanted to ride his coattails to sess.
“I’m sorry.” Celeste said softly, “I didn’t mean it that way I was referring to Shawn’s pattern.”
“Pattern? Luci was confused.
