Chapter 762
Chapter 762
When she first married Liam, she was ridiculed by Kaylee and other socialites for wearingst season’s
designer clothes to a banquet. Since then, every time a new collection was released each season, her
mother would have it delivered to her home.
Most of the expensive clothes in her wardrobe were gifts from her grandmother; she rarely bought
anything herself. This month was indeed the time for the clothes to be delivered.
But…
“Gat, aren’t you aware?” Celeste interrupted the young man’s introduction.
His voice was gentle. “Aware of what?”
Celeste said, “I’m no longer a part of the Reed family. There’s no need to deliver these clothes here
anymore.”
Gat said, “We haven’t received any rted notices.”
Celeste thought this might be her grandmother’s idea; otherwise, Gat wouldn’t have delivered the
clothes to her current residence. She epted it before her divorce; after all, she was the apple of her
grandmother’s eye.

But now that she was divorced, she felt embarrassed to ept.
So she said to Gat, “Gat, hold on a second; let me make a call.”
Gat nodded and said, “Take your time.”
Celeste dialed a number, reaching Sienna, who was on vacation.
The olddy and Mr. Robinson were fishing. When Mr. Robinson said was Celeste who was calling,
she took the call. “Granny, it’s me.”
The olddy chuckled, “Missing your old granny?”
Celeste smiled. “Yes, when are youing back?”
“Give it a few more days.” At least until Kaylee returns; otherwise, there’ll always be someone who
can’t let go.
Then she asked, “You need something from Granny?”
“There’s something.” Celeste organized her thoughts before saying, “Granny, Gat came over to
deliver clothes. Could you contact the store and have them take the clothes back? I have plenty of
clothes already, and I’ve been busy with worktely, so I don’t have much opportunity to wear them. It’s
a waste to have them just sitting in the house.”
The olddy paused, thenughed, “You might have got the wrong person.”
“Huh?”
“The clothes weren’t sent by me.”
Celeste was surprised. “But weren’t they always sent by you through Gat before?”
“It wasn’t me who had Gat deliver them before,” the olddy said, recing the bait that was taken
by a small fish. “I’m an olddy in my seventies; what do I know about fashion? What’s in style?”
If it wasn’t her grandma, then who could it be?
The olddy said, “Whoever it is from, just take it. Not using it would be a waste.”
Mr. Robinson thought the olddy would put in a good word for Liam, but she was actually encouraging
Celeste to ept the gifts.
After hanging up the phone, Celeste couldn’t calm down.
She never expected that all the clothes in her wardrobe were gifts from Liam!
Frowning, she recalled the first time Gat came to deliver clothes when Liam was also there.
She didn’t dare ept and called Liam down.
Liam told her that the clothes were sent by his grandmother, and she believed him.
Now thinking about it, grandma didn’t attend that party. How could she possibly know that she was
wearing out–of–season clothes? Liam, that blockhead!
Angrily, she dialed Liam’s number.
But Owen picked up the call.
“Hello there, Ms. Campbell.”
