of the court.

because she was an illegitimate child.

“If we had told you earlier, how could she have helped us?” Helen looked at Angel with a dissatisfied
look.

about Angel anymore.

one stone.
But Angel was still unhappy. When she was exposed as an illegitimate child,izens tore her to

She pulled out her phone and opened Instagram.
“This won’t open.” The little boy next to her handed his snack to Helen.
Helen pushed his hand away and said, “Be good; let your sister help you open it.” She then said to
Shawn, “Shawn, there will probably be more interviewsing in the next few days. Remember to
stick to the story we told in court today: that Celeste wronged you, not the other way around.”
Shawn frowned. “Can’t we just refuse the interviews?”
Helen knew that Shawn was going soft again. “Shawn, Celeste showed us no mercy when she was
against us. If you don’t deal with her thoroughly, we will be the ones to suffer when she fights back!
She’s not your biological daughter; don’t you feel wronged after all these years?”
Shawn clenched his fists. “She and Liam are divorced now; she can’t stir up any trouble. Going too far
will also harm our reputation.”
Did Shawn forget that he was the one who sent the driver away and let Celeste get in that car when
they just wanted to get rid of Caitlyn?
And now he’s pretending to have deep father–daughter feelings?
Helen patiently said, “Shawn, I know you’re soft–hearted, but you can’t be on this. And I’m always
uneasy about the money we invested in Smart Chips.”
Smart Chips went publicst Friday, and its stock price skyrocketed by 60 points on the first day,
earning him nearly 50 million in one day. Shawn immediately sold two–thirds of it.
He originally nned to sell all the stocks. But because of the continuous good news from Smart
Chips, the investment group he was in was discussing thispany every day, and many people felt
regret for not being able to buy the stocks.
Some experienced stock investors predicted that the stock price of Smart Chips would hit the upper
limit for at least ten consecutive trading days.
He was not fully believing this prediction at the time, but the stock price hit the upper limit as soon as
the market opened today, up 20 percent, and he immediately regretted it.
Hearing Helen ask him to sell the remaining stocks, his face immediately turned sour.
If it weren’t for Helen nagging every day, saying that Liam and Celeste were divorced and definitely
