Chapter 555
“You don’t even qualify for home ownership; running around with me, isn’t this a waste of time?”
Celeste furrowed her brow and exined softly, “I didn’t know I had property under my name before.”
“Don’t you know how many properties you own? Who are you trying to fool?” The seller frowned at the
agent and said, “You spent so much money, what kind of buyers are you finding me? Wasting my time!”
The young agent was embarrassed and quickly apologized.
The seller didn’t give any face, said a lot of unpleasant things, and then left with his documents angrily.
Celeste looked at the crestfallen agent, feeling very sorry in her heart, and kept apologizing to the other
party.
She had no idea she had the property under her name; otherwise, she wouldn’t have made people run
around with her for nothing. The agent was quite optimistic and kept saying it’s okay.
Celeste had the money ready; if she knew, she wouldn’t have gone this far, but she couldn’t help but
envy: “The properties under your name are so nice; why are you buying Redwood Ridge Estates?”
“It’s not my house,” Celeste said as she picked up her phone. “Wait a minute, I’m making a call.”
Celeste took Liam off the cklist and called him.
Nics was doing a massage with Liam.
He didn’t know where Liam got all these injuries; he wouldn’t say when asked, so he took Liam for a
massage since he was free in the afternoon.
The doctor was giving Liam a massage; his phone was on the table next to him, very close to Nics.
Nics was about to doze off but was awakened by the ringtone of the phone. He picked up Liam’s
phone and saw that it was a call from his ex–wife.

“Your ex–wife is calling!”
Liam’s eyes snapped open, but then he remained silent.
Nics was confused. Liam dreamed about Celeste taking him off the cklist every day; now that she
finally did, was this his reaction?
“You’re not picking up? I’m going to hang up then.”
Liam didn’t respond.
Nics didn’t believe it; he continued, “I’m really going to hang up.”
Liam still didn’t react.
Nics squinted his eyes and said, “Fine, if you don’t want to pick up, I’ll just hang up.”
As he said this, his hand identally slipped, and the phone stopped ringing. Liam immediately sat up.
“Who told you to-”
“Liam, are you free today?”
Before Liam could finish his sentence, Celeste’s voice came through the phone.
“Are you free?” made Liam feel a bit ttered, but remembering how Celeste acted when he fell off his
horse a few days ago, Liam felt this ttery was a bit undeserved. She definitely wasn’t calling to check
on his injuries.
But Liam didn’t want to hang up, so he purposely made his voice sound cold: “What’s up?”
