    Nics smirked, thinking it was her calling out that startled him. “What’s up?”


    Although Trisha still didn’t like how Nics acted like she didn’t matter, she needed his help, so she


    had to swallow her pride.


    “Mr Francis, are you close with Dr Ledford?”


    “We’re pretty tight, I guess. Why?”


    Trisha’s eyes narrowed yfully, “I need a favour. Can you help me pursue Dr Ledford? If you help me


    win them over, I’ll never speak of what happened that night for the rest of my life. But if you don’t.”


    Nics chuckled at her half–threatening and half–pleading attitude, asking. “So what if I don’t help?”
