    The Campbell family’s drama had been the talk of the town these past few days, but since today was


    Caitlyn’s funeral, everyone was keeping their opinions to themselves out of respect. After all, it was


    important to respect the dead and not cause any more trouble at their funeral.


    But Steven clearly didn’tt give a damn about that drama.


    As soon as he entered, he overheard Shawn scolding Celeste and couldn’t help but feel curious.

    Just as Steven was about to speak up, Celeste interrupted, “Shawn, today is my mom’s funeral. If


    you’re here to mourn her, then behave yourself. If you’re here to cause trouble, please leave!”


    Shawn replied, “How dare you talk to me like that? I’m your father!”

    In a low voice, Celeste said, “Don’t insult that title. I don’t want to argue with you here today. But if you


    mess up my mom’s funeral, I’ll make your children’s lives a living hell. Try if you don’t believe it.” She


    paused, then whispered, “Riverton School, right?”


    Fear suddenly gripped Shawn’s heart as he realized that Celeste knew about his son and even where


    the boy went to school.


    Recalling how she dealt with Angel, Shawn began to regret his actions. Although he was still furious,


    he didn’t dare say another word.


    After paying their respects to Caitlyn, Steven and ir approached Celeste.


    Celeste nodded, “Thank you foring.”


    ir looked at the woman before her, thinking that she looked like a delicate beauty straight out of a


    painting. Her haggard appearance couldn’t hide her striking features.


    ir had studied fashion design and had seen her fair share of famous models and celebrities, but she


    had never seen anyone as stunning as


    Celeste.


    As she nced around the funeral, ir wondered why no one from the Reed family was present.


    Suddenly, she heard somemotion outside. The Reeds had arrived.


    As soon as their car stopped, Mr. Robinson hurried out to open the door.


    Sienna rushed out of the car and headed straight for the funeral home.


    Skyler got out of the car and quickly catched up to Sienna, gently grabbing her arm and whispering,


    “Mom, please slow down.”


    Sienna coldly shook off her hand and said, “You’re just showing up now? You didn’t even help Celeste


    with the arrangements!”


    Embarrassed in front of so many people, Skyler quietly exined, “Celeste didn’t tell me beforehand. I


    just found out.”


    “If you paid more attention to her and had someone check on her asionally, you wouldn’t be finding


    out just now!” Sienna angrily replied. “When your parents passed away, how did your father and I


    handle it? You haven’t grown up at all after all these years! You just left all this responsibility on


    Celeste.”
