pet would develop feelings!”
The elderly woman went on and on about her observations of the “suspicious points,” talking with great
enthusiasm until it was her turn to see the doctor.
She didn’t forget to remind Liam before leaving. “Young man, you have to be more careful. Don’t end

When Owen returned with the water, he saw Liam staring at him with a frown.
Feeling nervous, he quickly put on a smile, “Mr. Reed, has Mrs. Reed not returned yet?”
“No.”
Liam’s voice seemed a bit cold.
Owen cautiously asked, “Mr. Reed, would you like some water? Cold, hot, and even drinks are
avable. Which one do you want?”
“Why did you buy so many for just a few people?”
“Mrs. Reed is a girl, she’s a bit picky, so I bought a few more.”
Liam stared at him for a second, then suddenly said, “You’re quite attentive.”

This was definitely not apliment, because Liam’s tone was too strange, and his eyes were weird,
even a bit angry.
Owen was good at introspection, but at this moment, he racked his brains and couldn’t figure out where
he had messed up to make Mr. Reed so aggressive.
So, when Celeste and Trisha came back, they saw Owen holding a bottle of water and standing
awkwardly in front of Liam.
“What are you two doing blocking the door of the consulting room?”
Celeste pulled Liam aside, “You’re blocking people’s way.”
Seeing Celeste, Owen felt like he had seen a savior. He quickly grabbed two bottles of water, “Celeste,
Ms. Colton, would you like some water?” Celeste took one and said to Trisha, “You go in, I’ll wait
outside.”

Trisha walked a few steps, then turned back to take a bottle of water from Owen, squinting her eyes
and shaking it at him, “Thanks!” Celeste opened the water and asked Liam symbolically, “Want some
water?”
Liam just hummed in response.

another one for herself.
