    Penelope was practically vibrating with excitementby the time she reached the lake. This was exactly what her and her wolf, Melody, needed: some fresh air under the moonlit sky. He ran around the lake twice, hoping to pick it up along one of the other banks, but when hedidn''t, he began to shake. How could she just disappear? He threw his head up towards the sky and let out a long, sorrowful howl.
