    “I’ve done a bit of investigation into Miss Lewis‘ case myself. There’s certainly the possibility of Yuri


    Volkov putting the me on Miss Lewis in order to escape responsibility, but when Yuri Volkov resigned


    and left the country not long after the trial ended three years ago, was the Hall family not suspicious at


    all?” wondered Terry.


    Jackson asked in a cold voice, “What are you trying to say?”


    “I just find the Hall family’s actions suspicious,” Terry said with a smile, “It felt like they were in a hurry


    to get Miss Lewis convicted back then. All the news and public opinions felt like they were intentionally


    or unintentionally forcing the case to reach a verdict as soon as possible. The time it took for this case


    to go from indictment to sentencing was far shorter than usual”


    Jackson pursed his lips so tightly that they almost formed a straight line.
