    “I’ll… Let me do it myself,” Serenity said, her face red.


    After a short silence, Jackson handed her the clothes in his hand and turned his back.


    Serenity’s cheeks were burning. She hurriedly changed her clothes, not noticing that Jackson had his


    hands clenched into fists. Even the sound of her changing clothes seemed very stimting to him.

    Jackson waited until Serenity was dressed and turned around.

    Jackson bent forward and picked up the dress. “I’ll get you another dresster.”


    “It’s fine.” Serenity hastily said, “Anyway, this dress was just a recement for the one spilled with tea.


    You’ve bought me plenty of clothes. There’s no need to get another one.”


    “I’ll have the maid throw this away,” Jackson said. He was about to call the maid, but Serenity hurriedly


    took the dress from him and stopped him.

    “That’s fine,” Jackson replied. He took her hand again and looked at the red mark on her wrist. It

    wrist. He massaged her with just enough pressure, making her feelfortable. The slight pain before

    “Yeah. Much better,” Serenity replied.


    “Get some rest,” Jackson said and was about to leave the room.


    “Jack!” Serenity suddenly called out to Jackson.


    Jackson froze and spun around to look at her. In the next moment, she wrapped her arms around his


    neck and tiptoed, initiating a kiss on his lips.

    Serenity spoke to him
