Jackson felt a pang of agony, almost as if someone had just stabbed him in the heart.
“But it’s a pity that this dress got torn, Serenity said in a regretful tone. “I only got to wear it once.”

“I’ll just buy you a new one,” replied jackson. “The most important thing is that you’re not hurt.”
Serenity smiled and shook her head, telling him, “But I’m not hurt at all! I’m not as fragile as you think I

“But that car crash wasn’t your fault at all!” she answered sincerely,pletely trusting him. “Why do
you need to apologize for it? The fact that you’re willing to help me figure out the truth makes me happy
enough!”

‘Really?” he murmured.
He could not help himself from leaning down and kissing her on the lips. It was only through a kiss that
he could express his guilt. It was only through a kiss that he could silently tell her how much he
regretted his mistake.
He would make sure that those who harmed her today would pay for what they did. He would make
sure that no one would ever dare make hurtful remarks in front of her ever again.
His kiss was both deep and exploratory. Serenity had no choice but to ept it, but his kiss was soon
about to leave her out of breath. She struggled to try to remind him that they were still right outside the

The sight made her grind her teeth with bitter contempt. She just could not figure out how a woman
who had been in prison like Serenity could ever attract a man like Jackson Vallor!
After a long while, the kiss finally ended. Serenity was panting heavily, but Jackson once again pulled
her in and pressed her tightly against his chest.
