    After Serenity put her phone away, Jackson asked, “Was it Lisa?”

    “Did she ask Terry White to help you look into your case?” he inquired further.


    “Not exactly,” answered Serenity, “She only asked Terry White to help me investigate one of the


    witnesses who’s in San Marco right now. She said the witness is currently detained by the police, so


    there might be a way to get some information out of him. We’re nning to go to San Marco tomorrow.”


    Although Lisa didn’t go into detail, Serenity knew some of the tricks of the trade since she used to be a


    lawyer.


    How could it be that easy to get words out of someone in custody? There’s no way Lisa was capable of


    doing that. It must be Terry White at work again.
