    “I know,” replied Serenity through her sobbing. Now that things hade to this, she had no idea what


    other method she could use to acquire fifty million dors.


    Jackson smiled at her. “I’m not gonna pay you,” he said.

    Connor went on to describe Serenity’s visit to her father’s home, and the conversation he had with their


    neighbors. He even went as far as to report the records of her phone call with her father as well as


    Aria.

    unanswered.”


    Jackson’s expression grew increasingly bitter as the report went on. A rough guess told him that they
