    Lisa almost choked at his words. Cheating?! What the heck She was not dating any one of them, okay?


    Lisa thought about it and decided to exin it to Terry curtly, “Hey.. My morn was the one who forced


    me into this. She Insisted on the blind date. If I didn’t show up, she said she’d cut off rtions with me.


    I wanted to tell him about you, but he interrupted me.”


    Lisa was technically not lying about this.


    “Your mother forced you on the blind date?” He raised his eyebrows.


    “Y–yeah!” Lasa smiled sheepishly. Her mother’s strength in forcing her to blind date was beyond the


    charts. She could not fight back at all.


    “So, you haven’t told your family about me?” Terry questioned with a dangerous glint in his eyes.


    Lisa felt weak. Tell her parents? How could she tell them?! Besides, Terry’s identity alone would scare


    her parents especially when. She was just going through the motions. Besides, her rtionship with


    Terry seemed kind of fruitless.


    “Well, our rtionship was too sudden. Breaking the news so suddenly would shock my parents, so I’m


    nning to find the right time to tell them,” Lisa tried her best to exin why, but the truth was that she


    had no intention of telling them.


    “You’d really talk to them? Terry’s dark eyes narrowed.

    “Great” Terry nodded. “If you get pulled into another blind date, you’re dead.”

    Despite saying that, Lisa could not resistining in her mind. She was just an acting girlfriend for


    Terry, but she seemed


    a little too weak.


    “Shouldn’t a gentleman treat his girlfriend with love and care? Why do I get threats instead?!!


    Terry was probably nning to take revenge on her. Even so, should he not make her fall in love with


    him first? In the movies and TV shows she had seen, men would act like incredibile gentlemen and


    treat the women as their most precious person to lure them in before taking their revenge.


    Lisa had never felt any of that from Terry. Instead, she felt threatened, almost as if he would kill her at


    any time.


    Terry seemed satisfied with her answer, so be spun around and continued walking Lisa hurriedly


    followed behind.


    Lisa’s stomach made an untimely growl as they walked out of the park.


    “Feeling hungry?” Terry asked.


    “Kinda,” Lisa replied, feeling slightly embarrassed. Looking at his expression, he seemed pretty calin.


    Lisa then suggested,” Well.. Why don 1 we eat here? There are a lot of good restaurants around here. ‘


    Terry gave her a sidelong nce, Lisa’s eyes were sparkling. Her eyes always sparlded whenever she


    talked about food, just like before. Lisa loved asking Terry about the local specialties and had made him


    take her around to try them all during their short time together abroad.


    “Let’s po,” Terry sald. Sure enough, her fare lit up with joy.
