    A touch of embarrassment crept into James‘ face. “Serenity, I’m sorry for not taking your case three


    years ago. I’ve been regretting it all these years. Now that you’re out of prison, I just want to help you


    as much as I can.”


    “There’s no need for apologies. People tend to look out for themselves, I understand that. It would have


    been great if you had helped, but even if you didn’t, no one could me you. It’s over now. I don’t need
