Lucas gently brushed the corner of her eyes with his fingertips and asked, “Are you going to cry?”
“Lucas,” she hastily told him, “I just love you too much and I don’t want to lose you! I know I was too
impulsive today, but… but I promise it won’t happen again.”
“You love me too much?” Lucas asked in an expressionless voice.
“Yes… Yes, I love you! I love you so much! Lucas, you’re the only man that I’ll ever love for the rest of
my life. Let’s not break up, okay?”
