    “That’s because you’re still young. When you get older, thoseplications will slowly show


    themselves.”


    “What kind ofplications are we talking about?” Lisa looked more anxious than Serenity was


    “In the future, she might get frequent joint pains. If it bes serious, she might have difficulty lifting


    heavy objects or have difficulty walking.” answered Dr. House.


    Serenity kept quiet and looked down at her limbs. She suffered all those old injuries in prison.


    Even if her bones were fractured after a beating, she was merely bandaged up and left to heal by


    herself. She was grateful enough to get a moment of respite. There was no way she would get the


    proper treatment or be given enough time to heal properly.


    “Then… can her injuries still be healed? Lisa asked nervously while trembling,

    “It’s a long–term process. She has to eat more food that contains calcium. She should also avoid using


    cold water when she showers or does household chores. Miss Lewis, make sure you rest properly this
