    The red light soon turned green.


    Zeke was about to drive away, but his whole body suddenly froze when he realized that the man beside


    Serenity looked very familiar… The image of the only man in the whole of Sria that he must never

    “Is it your friend?”


    “No,” he answered, his eyes gleaming. “I’ve never considered that man to be my friend.”


    Zeke simply could not go to sleep that whole night. His mind was preupied with the scene he had


    seen at the intersection earlier that day. He suspected that he might have been mistaken and that the


    man beside Serenity might just have been someone who looked a lot like Jackson Valor. After all, how


    could a powerful man like him spend any of his precious time with a woman like Serenity?


    She was the woman who had killed his former fiancee, after all.


    No one would ever believe that Jackson Valor had been with Serenity Lewis even if he told them.


    Still, he could not suppress the uneasiness he felt at that moment.


    What if it really was him? If that man really was Jackson Valor, then… he dared not imagine what would
